Welcome to the 6th Annual Yuletide Jam 2013


SATURDAY DECEMBER 14, 2013.  12:45PM - 8:00PM


The Sixth Annual Yuletide Jam Fundraiser is moving to Isle of Hope on Saturday December 14, 2013: Paxton Park (behind the Isle of Hope Pool / Fire Department) between the hours of 12:45pm and 8:00pm.

This annual music fundraiser was started by Isle of Hope resident Stewart Marshall and his cousin Thomas Barrow in 2008,and has been raising money for the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia during the holiday season providing food to many thousands of people’s tables in our area.

The formula for the event is simple: great music with talented local entertainers providing a wonderful time to many.  This year’s event will include the following for a $20 donation:

  • Music Line-up    
    • 12:45pm: Jan Spillane and the Curve
    • 1:30pm:Lauren Lapointe
    • 2:15pm: Ray Lundy of Bottles ‘n Cans
    • 3:00pm: Keith & Ross
    • 4:00pm: Junkyard Angel
    • 5:00pm: The Sweetfield of Eden Choir
    • 5:30pm:Stewart & Winfield
    • 6:30pm: The Andrew Gill Band
  • Chili Cook Off:  Come taste some chili with us: The first ever Chili Cook Off will occur from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.Awards by Chef Judges and Public Choice in the categories of Best Chili, Most Innovative Chili and Best Decorated Booth.
  • Kids Activities: Joe Ippolito, drummer of Junkyard Angel, will be holding drum circle sessions with children starting at 1:00pm and Scribble Art Studio will hold kids holiday craft sessions at 1 pm, 2pm and 3pm.
  • Tree Lighting: at 5:30pm
  • Santa Visit: 1pm to 3pm
  • Food Drive: Bring your cans
  • Food and Beverage: Hot dogs at the Baptist Church as of 1pm.  Hot Chocolate, Hot Cider, Funnel Cake, Kettle Corn and Cotton Candy by the Catholic Chapel. Soft Drinks are sold, bring your own alcoholic drinks.
  • Raffle: we have wonderful raffle items for your to win when purchasing tickets on Saturday - Come check it out!
We hope you will join us for this great cause on December 14: bring your families and friends to Paxton Park and sit back and enjoy some great music.  Bring some chairs and whatever you would like to drink.  Be prepared to taste some great chili options and let your children play in the Park and participate in the free activities.  Don’t forget to grab some cans from your pantry on the way out as well and let’s make this the best possible food drive and fundraiser for Second Harvest.
